Persian Radio Player

Persian Radio Player is a small Vista gadget that provides you with direct access to several radio stations based in Persia, as the name implies. It is easy to install and set up.
The interface of the app is represented by a tiny frame that can be moved to any position on the screen, by dragging it with the mouse cursor.
A button in the main frame allows you to play or stop the audio stream. Furthermore, you can use the mouse scrollwheel to adjust the volume level.
Selecting a radio station can be done through the Options panel. There are numerous options available, such as IRIB Maaref, Radio Farda, Radio Iran On Air, Iranian Radio: Persian Pop, VOA Persian and Radio Aftab.
You also have the possibility of creating a list of up to six presets, add up to three custom stations, select another theme for the gadget and make the tool automatically play the radio station on startup. There's also a brief file available.
Persian Radio Player is very light on the system resources, requiring a minimum quantity of CPU and memory. It has a good response time to commands and works well, without causing Windows to hang, crash or pop up error notifications. We have not encountered any issues in our tests, aside from the fact that some stations do not work. This is probably due to the fact that Persian Radio Player has not been updated for a very long time.
