Personal Agenda Database Description
Working in a growing company brings a lot of important chores and assignments, that can get out of hand and difficult to finish, if not managed in time. Plenty software solutions on the Internet can help organize such activities, Personal Agenda Database being one of them.
Can be started directly
Once the archive is completely downloaded and the files extracted, the app can be launched straight from the directory. What's more, it doesn't take up much room on the computer and doesn't leave any files behind removal.
It's wrapped in a predominant green/white theme, with an approachable and clean layout, displaying a single panel with all the provided fields, and several navigational buttons, at the bottom of the window.
Insert the values for each element
It could have come with a private database and protection system to keep the information away from being accessed and modified, and with some visual settings, to add a touch of personality. Existing records can be imported from the computer, by browsing their location.
To add a new item, simply enter the necessary info, such as date, start and end time, title, status (e.g. ongoing, completed, declined), location, and additional notes. In order for the entry to be registered, you have to hit the Add button.
Browse through tasks fast and easy
Using the displayed arrows on the left side of the window or the previous/next options at the bottom, you can navigate through the entries. The search bar gives you the possibility to look up for unknown terms on the Internet. This action launches a new tab in your default web browser. You are able to view the whole record table, by accessing the Edit menu.
Sadly, the export button is non-functional, making its purpose useless, and limiting the user's option to export its data. Plus, there are no settings to change the interface, change its font, add new fields, or schedule a reminder.
In conclusion
Taking everything into account, Personal Agenda Database is a plain and poorly optimized tool, that comes in handy only to those who just don't want to forget their chores. The lack of properties and functions leaves much to be desired.
