Photo to Sketch Pro

As the name of this program implies, Photo to Sketch Pro allows you to transform image files into sketches. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced users.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. Images can be imported by using only the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' function is not supported. Unfortunately, you cannot work with multiple items at the same time.
So, you can select the conversion mode between 'automatic' and 'freehand', as well as select the sketch type between pen, pencil and paste.
Adjustments can be made when it comes to the line and precision. Furthermore, you can select a texture mode out of nine presets, and make it tiled or stretched. Once the work is complete, you can save the new image to the BMP, JPG or WMF format, after establishing the output directory and filename.
The sketch processing program runs on a low amount of CPU and system memory, supports multiple skins for the UI, has a good response time and quickly finishes a task. The output sketches have a good image quality. We have not encountered any issues throughout our evaluation; Photo to Sketch Pro did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
On the downside, you cannot configure any program settings, such as making Photo to Sketch Pro open the output directory when the task is done. No recent updates have been made.
