Picture Caller ID

Picture Caller ID has been created to help users screen calls on the computer by receiving information about who’s calling.
When an incoming call is detected the application automatically displays the caller’s details on the screen. This way the person at the other end is not revealed the moment the call is answered.
Thanks to the built-in phonebook there is the possibility to store a large list of contacts, whose ringtone can be customized. This way the identity of the caller can be revealed without having to take a look at the screen.
Furthermore, after adding the details the contacts can be included to a whitelist or a blacklist, in order to instruct the application to permit the call or block it.
In the latter case the alert is suppressed and the user remains undisturbed, the only sign of an incoming call being the record available in the main screen.
The main screen of the program displays the number of calls that have been recorded, together with details like the time and data of their occurrence.
Picture Caller ID can be customized with regards to both the visual and the audio alerts. The program can be instructed to show the incoming call alert either on the entire screen or, in a less intrusive and discreetly manner, in the system tray area.
