It's also possible to add drop shadow effects, set photos as the background image, save objects as pictures, as well as to insert a calendar, clipart or text. Finished projects can be saved as local images, set as the desktop wallpaper, printed, or sent via email.

Evaluation and conclusion

The tool worked well in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error messages. It left a small footprint on system resources, using low CPU and memory, so it didn't hamper system performance.
On the other hand, Picture Collage Maker doesn't come loaded with more comprehensive features for experienced users. Nevertheless, it offers simple-to-understand and quick solutions for creating basic collages from images.
