Planet Venus Description
Planet Venus features rotating and spinning Venus with image of Mariner 2 Spacecraft hovering, collecting data, and taking pictures of Venus and sends it back to earth. As the more scientists learned about Venus the more yet to be learned about it; the wallpaper is designed for space fans and enthusiasts to display as animated desktop wallpapers that replaces traditional still, static, and boring desktop backgrounds and wallpapers to stimulate our thinking and a desire and curiosity to learn more about Venus-our Earths sister planet.According to Greek Venus is the goddess of love and beauty. The planet is so named probably because it is the brightest of the planets known and because the surface features on Venus are named for female figures. Venus has been known since early history of science. It is the brightest object in the sky except for the Sun and the Moon. The first spacecraft to visit Venus was Mariner 2 in 1962 and subsequently many others. According to scientists Venus probably once had large amounts of water like Earth but it all boiled away, Venus is now quite dry. Just imagine Earth would have suffered the same fate had it been just a little closer to the Sun. Venus is usually visible with the naked eye. As we sometimes referred to as the "morning star" or the "evening star", because it is by far the brightest "star" in the sky.
