Planetary Apprentice Description
Planetary Apprentice software was designed to be a reference tool that displays several properties for a selected planet. There are 18 properties divided into four categories - orbital, physical, axial, and atmospheric. The Apprentice shows all 18 properties for your seleceted planet in one scrollable window.
Here are some key features of "Planetary Apprentice":
ï¿ One-click unit conversion: Clicking a property given in metric units will automatically open the Apprentices conversion tool, enter the value clicked, and convert it to an american unit.
ï¿ Comparative chart: All nine planets with their respective properties are shown side by side in one chart. Handy for comparing differences and similarities between two or more planets.
ï¿ Customizable Interface: The colors and fonts used by the Apprentice can be customized by you.
ï¿ Image Gallery: A collection of several planetary images from NASA and the NSSDC.
Requirements:
ï¿ Web browser required for viewing the Image Gallery and the help file.
ï¿ Note: Planetary Apprentice will adjust itself to different screen resolutions, but the recommended resolution is 800x600 or greater. Also, the Apprentice looks best with a color setting of at least 16-bit high color.
