Pmo Browser Description
Pmo Browser is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you navigate on the Internet in a simplistic workspace.
User interface
You are welcomed by a plain design that embeds only a few configuration settings. A help manual cannot be found in the package but you can tweak the dedicated parameters on your own because they look easy to work with.
You cannot surf on the Internet in a multi-tabbed environment so you are restricted to opening a single website. Basic web browsing controls are implemented for helping you jump to the next or previous website.
Web browsing capabilities
The application gives you the possibility to check out a history with all accessed websites, create bookmarks with your favorite webpages, print the information, as well as send links via email using your default client.
What’s more, you are allowed to view the source code, get a list with currently opened webpages and easily switch between them, and delete history and bookmark items.
Pmo Browser comes packed with a built-in download manager that lets you start or pause an active task, remove completed downloads, as well as get details about each grabbed file, such as filename, size, progress, and URL.
Tests have shown that Pmo Browser loads pages pretty quickly. However, it eats up CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the computer may be affected. On the downside, the web browser becomes unresponsive.
Bottom line
In conclusion, Pmo Browser comes packed with a basic suite of features for helping you access websites. On the downside, it does not offer support for advanced options for allowing you to browse on the Internet in a private mode, install plugins and themes, set the homepage, sync data across multiple devices, and automatically fill out web forms, just to highlight some professional functions.
