Portable AWGG

Portable AWGG is a reliable tool designed to help you speed up the Internet download processes. The program is based on several engines, libraries and command line tool, such as Wget, acting as a front end for them. The application allows you to monitor and control several downloads at the same time.

Managing download queue

Portable AWGG is simple to use, does not require installation and features convenient functions for managing several downloads at the same time. You may easily start, pause, resume or even stop the downloading process altogether. The threads are displayed in its interface in the order in which they were added.
Starting a new transfer requires that you click the ‘plus’ sign button in the toolbar, then pasting in the download link. The program can automate this process, by prompting the new download dialog box as soon as you copy a link in the clipboard. The URL is automatically added to the designated field, so all you need to do is start the transfer or add it to the queue.

Create scheduled downloads

Portable AWGG allows you to create queued downloads, as well as schedule certain transfers to start at the specified time, in the indicated day. You may even create recurring download schedules, in case you need files that are frequently updated.
You may easily download files from public URLs, but also from password protected HTTP/FTP servers, as long as you provide the login credentials. The download threads are saved and displayed in the program’s interface, for eventual follow-up.

Prompting desktop notifications

Portable AWGG can notify you of finished downloads by displaying a notification box on the screen. It also serves as a shortcut to the output folder, so you may quickly access the downloaded file. The program supports Internet connection via proxy servers and allows you to enable/disable the clipboard monitoring - automatically copying any URL from the clipboard.
