Portable Calendar3 is a small software tool that enables you to keep track of personal notes in a simple calendar. It doesn't include complex features and can be used even by people with minimal PC experience.

No installation required

The whole application's wrapped in a single executable file that you can save anywhere on the PC to directly launch the tool. Another possibility is to keep it stored on a USB flash drive, in order to run it on any computer with minimum effort and no previous setup. No changes are made to the Windows registry settings. However, you should keep in mind that it creates extra files and places them in the same location as the .exe.

Add notes to a calendar

As far as the interface is concerned, the main app window has a rudimentary look and easy-to-use structure, where all you have to do is click a date on the calendar in order to type or paste text with events, reminders, personal notes, or anything else of importance. It's not necessary to save information after entering it, since this is automatically performed by Portable Calendar3.
It's possible to create multiple users. However, we've noticed that this doesn't matter for the notes, as they remain visible regardless of the selected user. Moreover, you can make permanent annual events (only one per day is accepted), delete any of them if you change your mind, and use a simple search tool to quickly locate particular pieces of information (partial matches are accepted).
Keyboard shortcuts are supported for jumping to the current day, previous or next month, for finding items, and for repeating the last search.

Conclusion

Portable Calendar3 is easy to use by anyone looking for a straightforward calendar. However, it's clearly outdated and has little to offer.
