Portable Decimal Basic

Portable Decimal Basic is a software app which provides you with a working environment for the BASIC programming language. As the name implies, the tool is portable.
Since installation is not required, you can store Portable Decimal Basic on a USB flash drive or other storage device, save it to any computer and directly run its executable file.
Therefore, you can place the tool in your pocket and always have it with you whenever you're on the go. The interface of Portable Decimal Basic resembles the one of a standard word processing tool, so navigating through its features should be a simple task. The program comes packed with three syntax types that you can choose from - Standard (ISO Full BASIC), Minimal BASIC compatible and Microsoft BASIC compatible.
So, you can configure settings regarding numbers and precision (e.g. decimal 15 digits, binary approximately 16 digits), graphics (e.g. image format, screen font), compatibility (syntax, behavior, graphics) and function keys.
In addition, you can use some basic editing tools (cut, copy, paste, delete, undo, select all), insert keywords, set or delete line numbers, change the case, add or remove comments, as well as merge multiple scripts.
The straightforward application uses a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, so it should not interfere with the runtime of other currently active processes. We have not come across any problems throughout our testing; Portable Decimal Basic did not freeze, crash or display error dialogs. All in all, Portable Decimal Basic should be easy enough to figure out by all users who work with the BASIC programming language.
