Multi-functional backup tool

With Portable Exiland Backup you can set multiple tasks, select the files you wish to duplicate, then choose one of the available types of processes. The software can perform full backup, which includes all the selected files, and creates the backup only if modifications have occurred since the last task. The incremental backup implies creating a full backup at the first run, then generates smaller archive files each time a modification occurs, since the last full or incremental backup.
The differential backup contains all the files that have been modified since the last full backup. The synchronization is a minor backup, used to create a copy of the current state of the source folder. You may set a limit for the number of full backups, by deleting old archives, in order to save storage space.

The object of the backup and the schedule

The software can create backups for local/network files and folders or duplicate, then save documents from the FTP servers. You may backup an entire partition or manually select the desired folders, include subfolders and set file or directories exceptions. Moreover, the software can perform two types of file duplication: as is or create a compressed ZIP document.
You may create several archives, with limited size, as well as encrypt the file with a password, for improved protection. The supported encoding algorithms include pkZip Classic and AES methods. After setting all the preferences, simply specify the destination folder for the backup files then let the software process the objects associated with the task.

Portable Exiland Backup allows you to create backup files on the spot, but you may also set a recurring task that runs by a specific schedule. You may set the scheduler to activate the task every few minutes, hours, days, or even months. Depending on the backup method you selected, the software can automatically generate the desired file, even encrypt it, according to your preferences.
