Portable IP Watcher

Portable IP Watcher is an easy to use application developed to help users monitor one or multiple IPs and perform certain actions in case the ping fails.
The program actually sends a ping at a user-defined interval and provides information on the IP status, while also allowing users to schedule certain actions in case of changes.
Portable IP Watcher comprises a very intuitive GUI, showing each monitored IP, status and the user-defined actions that must be performed when the IP status changes.
The app allows users to configure both the ping frequency and the timeout interval, while a new IP can be added to the list by inputting the address and the scheduled task. You can launch or close an application, shut down the computer or do nothing, while dedicated options allow you to run the program minimized to Tray and launch it automatically at Windows start.
As you can see, Portable IP Watcher is pretty easy to use, so the lack of a help manual shouldn’t bother you too much. On the other hand, beginners may need more information on check interval and timeout options, so more documentation could come in very handy in some cases.
The CPU footprint is minimal and Portable IP Watcher works fine on all Windows versions, without the need for administrator privileges on Windows 7 workstations.
