The colors are randomly changed each time you double click the icon, ranging from darker tones to light and pastel nuances.

One of the most remarkable features of Portable LoneColor is that it allows you to quickly set the desired color as background to the desktop. All you need to do is rename the icon from LoneColor.exe to LoneColor [name of the desired color].exe. For instance, double-clicking on the icon renamed to LoneColor Red.exe turns your desktop to a bright red color.
Similarly, you can further customize the program by renaming the icon so that it includes the code of your favorite color. This allows you to set a specific tone as background.
