Portable Nmapsi4

Portable Nmapsi4 provides a user-friendly interface for Nmap, a console-based network scanning utility that can come in handy to any administrator for monitoring hosts and managing the network hardware inventory.

Portability and ease of use

Portable Nmapsi4 offers the same range of functions while avoiding the command line, enabling users to work within an intuitive GUI. It is a special version of NmapSi4 that does not require installation and does not leave footprints in the system registry, being able to launch from a removable drive.

Network scanning options

Its tab-based window comprises various functions of Nmap, enabling you to run a new scan with just a few clicks. Just like Nmap, it can quickly scan networks with a large number of connected workstations and servers, but it also works with single hosts or smaller networks.
It can process a single IP or DNS, as well as a specified range of addresses, retrieving the list of hosts and a set of details about each detected workstation (such as the up time, the MAC address), along with running services and the installed operating system.

Traceroute and lookup functions

The application can be used for determining which hosts are available within your network by sending ping requests and waiting for a response. It supports NSE scripting and comes with tracerouting options, which enables administrators to run connection diagnostics for delayed packets.
Portable Nmapsi4 includes host lookup options and comes with network discovery capabilities, enabling your computer to send echo requests and tracing the packets.
