Portable UnderCoverXP

This is the portable edition of UnderCoverXP - a simple-to-use program that enables you to create and print covers for your CD and DVD collection. It can be handled even by users with limited experience in such apps.
As installation is not a prerequisite, you can simply drop the program files somewhere on the hard disk and run the executable immediately.
There is also the possibility of moving Portable UnderCoverXP to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any workstation without prior installers.
An important aspect to take into account is that the Windows registry section does not get updates with new entries, and leftover files are not kept on the hard disk after removing the tool.
The interface of the application is based on a single window split into two main areas, allowing you to create and print two sides of the CD/DVD, thus speeding up the process.
Portable UnderCoverXP comes bundled with a set of predefined settings, depending on the target disc: CD Front, CD Back, CD Front+Back, Blu-Ray, DVD Box, and so on.
Adding pictures for the cases cannot get simpler than this, since you click the white areas and browse your computer or external sources for pictures with the GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG or BMP formats. It is possible to rotate pictures, show cut/fold lines, preview the project, print objects on a single page, as well as to print the left image, right one, or both at the same time.
The Format Editor area includes numerous configurable settings, dedicated to customizing the CD/DVD cover parameters to your exact preferences - add lines and rectangles to the cut markers/fold lines, change the measurement unit, enable labels, remap the presets, and so on.
Portable UnderCoverXP features multiple skins and languages, has a good response time and works well, while using a low amount of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and the tool did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout, yet rich configuration parameters, Portable UnderCoverXP should please both beginner and advanced users.
