Power Writer Description

Simplicity of use - although extremely powerful, Power Writer is not trying to be absolutely everything to everyone as are most modern word processors such as Microsoft Word. This means that you spend your time writing, not fighting with it. Designed to handle anything from a short story to a multi-hundred page novel with all your notes, research, online references and more all in one document.
Integrated Outlining that dynamically stays in synch with your document as you write and edit gives you the ability to step back and view your story from a structural perspective, allowing you to easily "see the forest for the trees."
Integrated Story Development Tools means that Power Writer gives you more than top-notch word processing power; it gives you the tools to help you use your own skills as a writer to keep your story in focus and on-track. Story Tools data is always synchronized to the manuscript, so that at any place in your work you can ask yourself insightful questions about how that moment is advancing your story, teaching your characters, or solving expositional issues. Or use them to develop bigger themes, Act and Character arcs or track an unlimited number of Must Accomplish Items.
Fully editable Outline View means that you can restructure your story in the outline view and the manuscript will automatically be updated to conform to the revised order.
Three kinds of Notes cover all your research/rewriting needs: Global Notes for basic story research, Embedded Notes for on-screen reminders, and Referenced Notes which are notes that are referenced to a specific piece of text and which dynamically pop-up the text of the note when you position your cursor over it!
On-screen Dictionary-style Word Definitions are built into the integrated Thesaurus, and the spell check offers optional real-time auto typo correction and onscreen underlining of misspelled words.
Integrated Character Name Bank with thousands of character names sorted by male, female and family names.
