Process Killer Description
Process Killer is a small Windows application designed specifically for helping you check out all running processes and terminate the selected one with just one click.
The advantages of being portable
Since this a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.
You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to kill processes on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps.
Simple looks
The user interface is quite plain and embeds only a few dedicated parameters that you can play with. When you run the tool for the first time, it automatically builds up a list with all processes that are running on your computer.
What’s more, you can check out several details about each process, such as ID and file path, terminate the selected one, as well as update the information displayed in the main panel with just one click.
What it lacks
On the downside, you cannot activate the automatic refreshing feature for making the utility display the identified processes in real-time, use hotkeys for killing all processes or only the selected ones, and launch search operations via your default web browser in order to detect malicious entries.
Performance
During our testing we have noticed that Process Killer carries out a task quickly. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
Bottom line
If you are looking for a simple software solution when it comes to helping you monitor all running processes and terminate the selected one, you may give Process Killer a try and see what it can do for you.
