ProjectX Description
ProjectX is a reliable and useful Java based-demux utility that provides you with a better preview behind the digital radio and television transmissions and tries to repair many stream types.
The application can be operated via a graphical user interface or using the command prompt utility so it comes in handy for both beginner and advanced users.
As we know, in digital television, we don’t see the produced image exactly as it is in reality. Actually, the whole TV picture will be compressed and edited before transmission and sent as digital data stream (MPEG2 transport stream) so here ProjectX comes in handy.
With the help of ProjectX you have the possibility to check for overlapping PVAs when reading the broadcasted files, ignore scrambled packets, concatenate different recordings, rename all MPEG video and audio files, as well as to patch all recorded frames.
Because of its intuitive interface and well organized menus, ProjectX enables you to decode hidden rows, keep original Timecode on independent decoding, dump dropped GOPs to separate files and view all the subtitles.
All things considered, ProjectX is a useful demux utility whose main purpose is to help users analyze TV and radio transmissions so it can handle various video and audio streams.
