Pryme Description
Capturing images through the webcam can be fun, especially if you want to make recordings of yourself and your friends. Pryme is a small app that can capture images and videos of your activity in front of the webcam.
The program has a clean interface that is quite easy to work with, thanks to the intuitive layout.
Basically, on the app’s frame you can view the images received by the camera. It may take pictures or record videos by simple pressing some keyboard combinations.
You may also set up timed captures every few minutes or whenever the camera detects movement. The webcam’s sensitivity is quite easy to change. By default, it is set to detect movement in the entire picture or only a user-defined area.
Furthermore, you may choose a video recording device and adjust the number of frames per second. The picture quality can be modified, as well as the audio settings of the video.
Through the “Settings†area of the app, the filename formats may be altered for both images and videos. The name of the pictures can contain some date and time commands. Default output folders may be set for all types of recordings, including log files.
The bottom line is that Pryme is a nice tool that can come in handy quite often. Inexperienced individuals should find it easy to work with, thanks to its overall simplicity.
