Punjabi Kosh

Punjabi Kosh is a practical application for the users that want to learn Punjabi or to translate a text between Punjabi and English. It aims to provide you with a word translation by simply typing the word on your computer.
The program supports both Punjabi to English and English to Punjabi translations. You just need to select the keyboard that you want to use and start typing in order to view the word suggestions.
You can use the English or the Punjabi keyboard layout by selecting them from the main window. The list also includes the Unicode phonetic keyboard and the option to transliterate a Punjabi word by using Latin characters.
But the application can do a lot more than simple translations. In the Learn menu you can find tips for building Punjabi sentences and pronunciation rules for consonants. You can even learn how to position your tongue in order to accurately pronounce a certain sound.
The Play section features two games that can you can use to have fun while matching English and Punjabi words. It can also be helpful if you want to use the program to help your children practice a foreign language.
The interface of the program can be customized by changing the background color in order to provide maximum visibility. An interesting feature is the ability to use wildcards when searching for a word translation.
