PyLight Description

When it comes to developing software, each expert can choose the programming language they are most familiar with, so that creating and finalizing a project take as little effort as possible.
Those who prefer Python over other languages can turn to PyLight whenever they are looking for an intuitive code editor for their work.

A user-friendly solution for editing Python code

In order to enjoy the functions of PyLight, you first need to download and install Python, .NET Framework and Py2exe, and only afterwards install PyLight as well. Also, when you run the app for the first time, you will be required to specify the installation folder of Python, otherwise its features will be inaccessible.
The utility comes with several built-in samples, to get you started with Python development, so you can spend some time by analyzing the code lines or even embed them within your project to experiment.

Syntax highlight and compilation for your Python code

You can work on your code right away, and you will notice that PyLight comes with syntax highlight for your code lines.
Furthermore, you can switch to a different font type and size if you are not pleased with the current configuration - however, the syntax highlight is temporarily lost. You also get the possibility to choose a custom color to apply over the entire project content.

Save your work as Python files or as EXE projects

After you are finished working on your Python code, you can run it to make sure no errors or typos have been been included.
Once you are sure that everything goes smoothly, you can save your work as a Python file or you can export it as EXE (nonetheless, keep in mind that this function can only be run on x64 computers).
All in all, PyLight can prove to be a handy solution for all Python enthusiasts who are looking for an intuitive solution for editing their code lines.
