qPdf2Img Description
qPdf2Img is a small software application designed specifically for helping you convert PDF files to image formats, such as BMP, JPG, PNG, PPM, TIFF, XBM, and XPM. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.
Clean feature lineup
You are welcomed by a straightforward design that gives you the possibility to import documents in the working environment using the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented).
You can check out details about each file, such as name, size, and path. In addition, you are allowed to delete the selected items or clear the entire workspace with a single click.
Conversion settings
qPdf2Img lets you process all pages included in a document or a user-defined page range by specifying the start and end values. Plus, you can convert a single page.
Other important tweaking parameters worth being mentioned enable you to pick the destination folder, check out a log which includes details about the conversion process, choose the preferred output format, adjust the JPEG quality and DPI, as well as set up the rotation angle.
You cannot employ batch actions for processing multiple PDF items at the same time so you can only convert a single document.
We have tested the application on Windows 8.1 Pro and come across some bugs. The program crashed while converting files. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources. It offers very good output results.
Final observations
All things considered, qPdf2Img comes packed with several handy features for helping you turn PDF files into photos, and can be configured by rookies and professionals alike. However, it still needs functionality improvements in order to deliver a bug-free environment.
