Quick Conversion-LITE is a lightweight application designed to help users perform various unit conversions.
It boasts a clean and simplistic interface that displays all the measurement units in the primary panel. The entire conversion process seems nothing but a piece of cake, as you only need to enter the value in the dedicated box and pick the unit from a preset list. Although it includes a help manual, the GUI is intuitive and you can master the program in no time.
Quick Conversion-LITE automatically displays the converted units as soon as you type the number. It offers support for different measurement units, such as inches, feet, yards, miles, millimeters, centimeters, meters, kilometers, and others. Additionally, you can clear the results with just a single click.
Since the application doesn’t comprise any configurable settings, even a less experienced user can make the most out of every single built-in feature.
During our testing we have noticed that this utility displays the results very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small tool, it doesn’t eat up CPU and memory, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer or interfere with other programs’ functionality.
On the downside, you cannot copy the information to the Clipboard, save it to a file or print it. You can move the application to any area of the desktop, but it is not possible to switch to full screen mode.
All in all, Quick Conversion-LITE comes packed with an intuitive working environment for helping users perform limited conversion options.
