Quick Time Converter

Quick Time Converter is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to encode video files supported by Quick Time (namely MOV, QT, MP4 and M4V) to other extensions, such as AVI, MPG and VOB. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Video clips can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.
In the queue you can check out the source path, size, frame rate, length and status of each video. So, once you establish the output profile and directory, you can proceed with the encoding task.
But you can also configure audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate and channel mode.
The simplistic video conversion program requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve a good image and sound quality. We haven't encountered any technical difficulties during our tests. There's also a brief help file available.
On the other hand, you cannot configure program settings (e.g. enable Quick Time Converter to automatically turn off the computer after encoding). Other than that, we strongly recommend this software to all users.
