QwikMark

QwikMark is a compact and portable application that allows you to run several benchmarks on your computer, in order to test its capabilities. It comes packed with limited options.
Since the tool does not come with a setup pack, you can just save it to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run tests on any computer.
Otherwise, you can just drop the EXE file anywhere on the hard drive and run it immediately. An important aspect is that the Windows Registry area does not get entry updates, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after program removal.
The interface of the application is based on a standard window with an uncomplicated layout, where you can view system information in regard to the CPU details, family and speed, instructions, system memory and OS version.
As far as performance benchmarks go, you can test the CPU speed and FLOPS, memory bandwidth and disk transfer (once you select a drive). It is possible to run these tests individually or trigger all of them. There are no other options available through this app. Unfortunately, you cannot save the results to file or print them for further evaluation.
We have noticed a minimal CPU and system memory consumption during QwikMark's runtime, so it doesn't burden the computer's performance. It has a good response time and finishes a test rapidly, without errors, hanging or crashing. We have not come across any problems in our tests. On the downside, QwikMark has not been updated for a pretty long time.
