R.A.L.E. View

The R.A.L.E. View application was developed to be a freeware utility to view, analyze and play respiratory audio files. The inclusion of air flow data makes it possible to extract reproducible information from averaged sound spectra under standardized conditions. This provides the opportunity to relate objective respiratory sound measurements to the respiratory health status of children and adults.
R.A.L.E. View is more than a tool for respiratory acoustic research. Educators and students in the health care professions will also appreciate the benefit of a compact computer program that presents high quality digital recordings of lung sounds.with information on air flow and breath volumes.
You can open and save files as:
a) R.A.L.E. recordings
These files are sampled 10,240 Hz, 12 bit resolution, and contain air flow information.
b) R.A.L.E. binary file format
These files can be used by other programs, e.g. MatLab.
c) WAV files
These files do not contain air flow information.
