Randomizer Description
Although math is not the prettiest subject in school, it is behind the well-functioning of modern systems, including computers. Random numbers also have a saying in this. Dedicated application can save you the futile effort of coming up with a random number, with Randomizer deciding after a few trial runs.
Can be used on the go
One of the main advantages is that the application requires no installation in order to function, so you’re able to benefit from its features as soon as download is done, but also carry it around on a thumb drive to have it at hand on any computer you’re working. Registry entries remain intact during the process, and so does the health status of the target PC.
The visual design is minimalistic, and allows individuals of all levels of experience to quickly get the hang of things. A large preview area updates in real time until generating the final number, and all editable functions and the trigger button are nearby for easy access to all elements at once.
Good, but far from being a pro
All your effort narrows down to writing down the minimum and maximum values between which to pick a random value. You only get to work with integers though. Hitting the start button puts the process in motion. Multiple numbers are generated before a final one is provided, but these are generated too fast to be able to save any of them, so you only end up with one after every try.
What’s more, the final result needs to be manually copied if required in a different project. It would have been useful to see a built-in export function for all generate values. Unfortunately, there is no such option, or any export possibilities of any kinds.
In conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Randomizer is only handy if you need a bunch of random numbers, or only one instantly. The lack of any export options has a considerable impact on overall practicality.
