RedMowse Description

The computer is mostly a super tool that can be used to accomplish a ton of different activities, given the right set of programs. Sure enough, some degree of effort is required on your behalf, since the computer doesn’t (yet) have a mind of its own, but several activities can be automated, and RedMowse is an application that can prove this.

Simple interface makes it easy to use

The application doesn’t even need to be installed in order to function, which means you’re able to carry it around on a USB flash drive to automate mouse actions on other computers as well. In addition, registries remain intact, so that the target PC doesn’t get damaged. However, you do need to make sure that .NET Framework is part of Windows.
A compact main window shows up on launch, with all functions you need to automate mouse movement, since this is the application’s core function. This is done by recording whatever action you need to perform, while the program then attempts to repeat it.

There’s no option to edit recorded actions

There are also several controls that accompany record and playback options. These can be used to set recording and playback interval in seconds, as well as a random pixel offset value. Moreover, you can repeat the action forever by simply selecting an option.
Once recorded, an action needs to be saved to file if you want to ever use it again. Sadly, it can’t be directly accessed, and you first need to run the application and load it. Make sure to pay attention to playback hotkeys so you don’t lose control of your mouse, or cause any other damage by mistake.

On an ending note

All things considered, we come to the conclusion that RedMowse is a practical mouse recording utility, but it lacks some advanced features, and it can be a bit difficult to keep under control. Actions you record aren’t displayed anywhere, meaning you can’t edit them. Moreover, it would have been useful to be able to trigger actions by simply running saved tasks, without having to launch the application again.
