RegCompact Pro

RegCompact Pro is a simple-to-use application that optimizes the Windows Registry, in order to boost the overall performance of the computer. It comes with standard options that can be tinkered even by less experienced users.
The interface looks a bit unusual but it is easy to navigate. RegCompact Pro displays a list of all registry areas and can perform an analysis to establish preliminary results when it comes to registry optimization; it shows the initial and output size of each section.
The scanning procedure can take a long while to finish, depending on the complexity of your system's registry. In order to make it compact, all you have to do is click a button. It is possible to select only particular registry areas, instead of processing all of them.
A system reboot is required to apply the new modifications, which is normal, but RegCompact Pro doesn't warn the user in advance. It automatically executes the task after confirming it, so make sure to save all data you are currently working on.
The application has a good response time and delivers good results. We have not come across any difficulties in our testing, since RegCompact Pro did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Unfortunately, the tool has not been updated recently, and it is not supported by later operating systems.
