ReMind

ReMind is a lightweight and pretty intuitive application that allows you to set alarms accompanied by sounds and messages. Consequently, you can schedule notifications for important meetings, appointments, dates, medication reminders, bill payments, birthdays or for any other tasks you may need an alarm for. The program allows for easy installation and can be set up by users that have little to no experience using software utilities.

Easy-to-use interface

The interface consists of a small window that displays your system current date and hour, allowing you to move its position anywhere on the desktop by holding the left-click mouse button. If you want to change the time and date format, you must go to Control Panel to find Regional Options.
Alarms can be set by entering the date, reminder message and time, also they can be scheduled to run daily, weekly or monthly. Unfortunately, you cannot set the same task to be performed daily, weekly or monthly without creating two more copies for it.
A small note is in order, you cannot overwrite an existing alarm. To reconfigure it you must clear the entire line and enter a new reminder. Plus, the usage of quotations in the message text is to be avoided since it causes program crashes.

Conclusion

The program runs smoothly and during the evaluation it did not crash or hang. It is simple-to-use , allows easy access through the system tray and keeps the CPU and RAM resources to a minimum.
So having all things considered, ReMind is a handy application that does what is programmed to do, but is in dire need of some improvements, especially in a more attractive and richly-featured interface.
