RepaintMyImage Freeware Description
The majority of pictures which get uploaded on the Internet, and various social networks undergo different processing techniques. There are various presets and effects an image can be enhanced with, and if you’re looking for something a little different, and fast, then RepaintMyImage Freeware can help you out.
Arrange the picture on the canvas
The application tries to put emphasis on display, and one method it does this is through a large preview area, where you’re free to drag the image in a different spot, zoom in or out, or return to default position, and size specifications through double-click. The options palette also takes up little interface space, keeping settings intuitive at the same time.
You get to work with one image at a time, which you can either drag over the main window, or load through the built-in browse dialog. Supported formats let you work with pictures like BMP, JPG, TIF, and PNG. This also applies to saving, so your original picture doesn’t get overwritten, not even by mistake.
Configure, and apply effects
There’s a high chance you end up scratching your head right after loading a picture, especially because options don’t instantly appear. This is because they become available once you select the type of effect to apply, and you can choose from original, smudge, or redraw.
Each method comes with its own set of sliders to manage intensity, smoothness, sharpening, flattening, details, and more. Preview isn’t offered in real time, but there is a possibility to have a small area quickly converted so you can get an idea what is obtained.
Processing doesn’t take a lot of time either, and when done, you can hold down the right mouse button to view the original. If you don’t want to save, selecting a different paint tool discards all changes, but not until you specify whether to save as a different picture or not.
On an ending note
To sum it up, RepaintMyImage Freeware allows you to quickly enhance any kind of photos by having them repainted with one of three different algorithms. A little sense of control is provided through different configurations sliders, with the painting process taking little time.
