RichMosaic Description
RichMosaic is a lightweight graphic application whose purpose is to help you create photo mosaics with custom images from your collection.
Clean looks
The tool reveals a well-structured suite of features with the aid of a multi-tabbed environment. An online help manual is available in case you need extra assistance with the configuration process.
Photos can be imported in the working environment using only the built-in browse button (the drag-and-drop support is not implemented). The program works with JPEG, BMP, and PNG file format. The imported photos can be previewed in the main window.
Design photo mosaics
RichMosaic offers you the possibility to import an input image that you want to create and build up a list with the photos that make the mosaic of the input file by adding single or multiple folders.
In addition, you are allowed to add movies and set the preferred frames, remove folders from the list or clear the entire workspace with a single click, as well as rebuild all the information for the current folder in the cache.
What’s more, the application lets you make several changes to the generated thumbnails that make up the final mosaic. You can set the size of the thumbnails, specify the size of the border around each thumbnail, configure a threshold, and flip thumbnails.
Other important configuration settings worth being mentioned enable you to allow thumbnails to be wrapped around the contours of the input image, export the mosaic to JPEG, PNG, or HTML file format, and opt for a color, black and white, or sepia profile. Plus, you can specify the saving directory, set the amount of tint of the final output thumbnails, and pick the saving directory.
Final observations
To sum things up, RichMosaic comes packed with several handy features for helping you create mosaics from multiple pictures.
