Roadkil's CPUID Description

Roadkil's CPUID is a small program that displays information on the processors of your computer. This type of tool can be handled by users who frequently make hardware changes or who are avid video gamers, frequently using a very high amount of system resources.
This is a portable piece of software, so Roadkil's CPUID does not come with an installation package. It means that you can save the app to a USB flash drive or any other storage device, store it on any computer and directly run its executable file.
Therefore, you can verify the processor status of any system. Plus, no updates are made to the Windows Registry and no files are left behind on the hard drive after program removal.
The GUI of Roadkil's CPUID is based on a standard window where you can find out computer details, such as the CPU description and ID response, serial number, package type, core model and code name.
But you can also view the clock speed, L2 cache speed core and bus speed, core multiplier, and uptime. Thanks to a drop-down list, you can specify the processor number. From the 'Features' tab, you can customize some preferences. For example, you can disable the floating point unit, virtual mode and debugging extension, self snoop and hyper threading.
Additional tabs of Roadkil's CPUID allow you to view thorough data regarding the cache levels (e.g. descriptors, number of ways and entries) and voltage and temperature (e.g. fan speed, CPU temp, enable thermal trip protection or frequency ID control).
Roadkil's CPUID uses a very low amount of system resources, so it should work smoothly on any computer. It has a good response time and didn't cause the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs during our tests. All in all, Roadkil's CPUID should satisfy all users who are curious about the inner workings of their computer. No recent updates have been made.
