When creating a new document, the app requires two different passwords that need to be typed every time you want to access them. It saves files in SPD format and doesn't offer support for standard file types, such as DOC, RTF or TXT. The drag-and-drop function isn't featured either. The printing settings can be configured from the menu, such as the paper size (letter, ledger, A3, A4), resolution, orientation, and custom dimensions.

Customize the content using essential elements

You can add a few formatting features, such as bold, italic and underline, increase or decrease indent, create bullet lists, and align paragraphs. In addition, there is an option to customize the font with different types and styles, colors or sizes. Safe Pad lets you insert images with a few standard file formats, like JPG, BMP, PNG and GIF, and resize them to the desired length.
It's possible to easily copy, cut and paste content from another document, fix mistakes using the undo and redo buttons, and wrap the text to the fit the window. Unfortunately, there are no options to enter tables, symbols, date and time, or hyperlinks, nor to view the number of words and characters.
