Samsung Java SDK Description

Samsung Java SDK is a practical and effective application worth having when you need to develop applications for Samsung mobile phones using a class-based programming language, namely Java.
Being designed for developers who really know who to work with Java classes, objects and attributes, Samsung Java SDK comprises powerful tools into an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
The program consists of three main components namely KToolbar, Utilities and Emulator that help you to develop and test mobile applications effortlessly.
The first utility, entitled KToolbar enables you to automate various tasks involved in the creation of Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) applications. The main window of the utility is very simple and enables you to open your projects. After that, you can choose the Samsung device you are interested in, then run the scripts.
Since Samsung Java SDK comes with a practical emulator, you can easily test your MIDP applications to view if they work on the selected device.
The left panel of KToolbar enables you to view all the Java classes and the resources used within the application so you can modify the project the way you want.
Additionally, Samsung Java SDK provides you with several utilities that you can make use of such as ‘Network Monitor’, ‘WMA Console’, ‘Start SIP Server’ and ‘COMM Terminal’, to name a few. For instance, if you want to clean the entire database, you can access the Utilities option available in the File menu, then choose the proper snap-in that helps you to perform such action.
During our tests, we found out that the emulation process uses moderate PC resources. However, it runs smoothly in the background and does not cause the system to freeze, and neither does it impact other running applications.
Overall, Samsung Java SDK proves to be a practical solution geared toward Java developers who need to design applications for Samsung mobile devices.
