Scale is a very basic yet reliable software utility functioning as an architectural scaler, enabling you to convert real dimensions into their paper equivalents.
The program is built and functions in 16-bits, so not all machines can support it. Scale is very easy to use, all you need to do is enter the dimensions of the site in meters and press 'Enter', then input the required scale and once again hit the 'Enter' key.
Scale instantly calculates and displays the accurate result, providing you with the number of centimeters you need to draw on your paper. The application is very precise, offering multiple digit decimals for each calculation, so you can be sure your drawings will be as correct as possible.
The tool is quite limited, being able to perform one operation and one alone, meaning it cannot do anything else aside from scaling meters into centimeters. You cannot even copy the results to clipboard and paste them in another window, nor can you save them to a file. As such, if you need to work further with these values, you will need to copy them by hand.
Moreover, Scale does not keep a history of the previous calculations, meaning that every time you want to start anew, the other operations' results will be lost, so make sure to manually save each operation, if for instance, you want to make a comparison.
