Scientific Calculator Description
Scientific Calculator is a lightweight Yahoo! calculator designed to help users perform various mathematical operations.
The program sports a clean and straightforward layout that gives users the possibility to perform most operations with just a few clicks.
Scientific Calculator comes packed with several dedicated parameters that allow you to make different math operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as use trigonometric functions like sine, cosine, tangent and others.
The GUI is divided into two main areas, with the first one displaying the results and the second the mathematical functions. The generated results cannot be copied to the Clipboard or saved to a file.
Furthermore, you can customize the application’s look by selecting from different themes. Plus, you can choose the measurement unit used for trigonometric functions (degrees, radians, or gradians).
Other options offered by the Yahoo! environment give you the possibility to prevent the window from being dragged, set the opacity level, and ignore mouse events. You can also make the program stay on top of other applications, and this proves to pretty useful, especially when dealing with multiple tools at the same time.
As it would be expected from such a small utility, it manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
To sum things up, Scientific Calculator displays the mathematical results very quickly and, thanks to its overall simplicity, it may become ideal for rookies.
