No setup required

As there is no installation involved, you can drop the app directory anywhere on the disk and just click the .EXE file to launch Screenshotter. Otherwise, you can move it to a removable storage unit to directly run it on any computer effortlessly. It doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

Simple interface and options

The GUI is represented by a fullscreen window that you can exit from. It's possible to customize the background color or apply an image from the computer, undo your actions, as well as to cut, copy, paste or clear the image.
Apart from the fact that keyboard shortcuts are supported, there are no other notable options provided by this piece of kit.

Evaluation and conclusion

Unsurprisingly, Screenshotter's impact on the overall performance of the machine was minimal, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and memory to work properly. It had a good response time and didn't trigger the operating system to hang, crash or display error dialogs. Although it doesn't include rich features and configuration parameters, the app serves its purpose.
