SE-ColorMaker Description
Selecting colors when building applications or web pages isn’t really done in the same manner. Some programming languages recognize colors based on their code, and it’s close to impossible to know all of them by heart. As such, SE-ColorMaker provides an advanced color palette to pick just the right tone, and view corresponding codes.
Basic picker, and advanced editor
The application starts off in a compact mode, which is still enough to cover basic color picking needs. A drop-down menu allows you to choose from several different color palettes, such as HSV picker, Photoshop Picker, Hex/Web, HTML, system colors, as well as 4 bit console. The set of controls changes accordingly.
On the other hand, you can enter the advanced mode for a lot more options. Although packed with an abundance of palette editors, and pickers, these are neatly organized in tabs, with a constantly visible information panel regarding color values, and codes, while the central area is the interactive picker.
Thorough color combining, and saving
Depending on your project requirements, tabs take your through a color editor, color picker, existing palettes, palette editor, and current palette. The status bar is used to store selected colors, and you’re free to save quite the amount of different colors.
The process of picking a color itself is easily accomplished. The only time-consuming activity is browsing through the variety in ways this can be done, such as color wheels and variations, or individual management of attributes like hue, saturation, lightness, or red, green, and blue layers, with the additional Alpha component.
The side panel constantly shows the HTML code, as well as HLS, and ARGB groups, where A stands for alpha. Codes are instantly sent to clipboard upon selection. There’s also Portable SE-ColorMaker you can use on the go, but just make sure that .NET Framework is installed on the computer you want to use it on.
In conclusion
Bottom line is that color codes are heavily used in interface design, and Portable SE-ColorMaker provides a complex suite of color picking tools, and palette editors. The variety of info and features is no less than impressive, and despite its complexity, individuals of all levels of experience can benefit from what it has to offer.
