SecondKey Description
If your work implies handling text documents on a daily basis, and writing, chances are you need to use some standard forms, and expressions, which become frustrating to repeat over and over again. In this regard, SecondKey gives you the possibility to insert large text strings by simply pressing a few mouse buttons.
Insert large text strings with simple keystrokes
The application spends most of its time in the tray area, with a small notification box which can be brought up to view your current level, total size of items you can store, as well as number of corrections, which represents nothing more than how many times you used keystrokes to insert large text paragraphs.
It’s best to visit the “myShortForm†feature first to check out preset shortcuts, or to configure the list and add your own entries. You quickly get the hang of things once looking over the list of presets, and input field description tags help out even more. All you need to do is write down a few characters which are replaced with the associated string when written down in any kind of document.
Improve typing through a fun game
There’s a similar component you can use in order to have words starting with capital letters, such as weekdays, months, or corporation names, automatically corrected when possible. This time, you only need to provide the word, with the application automatically changing the casing of the first letter when detected.
Last but not least, the application can also help improve your typing skills with a fun component. Stored in a compact window, it lets you select from a large variety of preset text, and write as much of it as you can in a minute. Results, and scores are shown in the end, with history kept track of to check for improvements.
A few last words
Bottom line is that even if writing using a keyboard is a lot faster than the pen and paper method, it’s no use writing the exact set of words or paragraphs over and over again, especially when SecondKey helps you insert it by simply pressing a few buttons. It’s easy to configure, and use, also helping you improve typing speed, and skills.
