Secretpad is a minimalistic yet efficient application that comes with only the essential options to compose multiple notes in an uncomplicated way, personalize them with fonts to best suit your tastes and store files anywhere on the hard drive.
The app comes as a small executable that runs the program without a setup, can be dropped on a USB flash drive and used on any computer. In order for the application to start, .NET Framework needs to be installed on the hard drive. It's wrapped in an intuitive and plain layout with a basic editor and standard menu. It's recommended to run it in administrator mode to be able to access its functions.

Customize the text with various fonts and configure the printing properties

Unfortunately, the app doesn't let you open any type of documents, like TXT or RTF, only CDT file formats. From the menu, you can enable the status bar and the option to close on idle. Plus, it's possible to search for specific terms, set up the page settings before printing, such as size, source, orientation and margins, as well as resize the panel by dragging the corners to the desired length.
In addition, you can copy, cut and paste content from another source and replace words with others. Unfortunately, the utility lets you only insert the date and time, with no option to enter images, tables or bullet lists. The text can be wrapped to fit the window and the font type, size and style changed to the desired one.
