The application doesn't come with a complicated setup and it takes almost no time to install on your computer. It sports a lightweight and colorful graphical interface, with various features at hand.
You can navigate through sections using tabs and simply enable or disable certain features or options. You can make security settings on your computer and clear pagefile at showdown or disable DICOM if you'd like.

Adjust settings to keep your computer clean

Security Manager allows you to disable EPMAP, it's an EndPoint Mapper that Microsoft uses in order to remotely manage services. Moreover, you can disable storage credentials and .NET password, data interrogation, null sessions, recycle bin, remote desktop and set read-only for host files.
Server Message Boxes can also be disabled. Some system changes can be made, 'shared files' can be blocked from network use, enable boot-defrag or disable bandwidth reservation.
You can have the application always show file extensions, autorun on all drives, disable administrative shares, open start-menu faster or disable video preview.

More features and tools

Changes can be made to services, DNS client can be disabled, together with automatic update, Windows Firewall and SSDP service. It comes with some settings that you can make to Internet Explorer, presuming that this is the default browser that you use when going on the Internet.
Privacy settings are available, you can clean system temporary files, Internet files, cookies in various browsers or Windows log files. All in all, Security Manager is a very nice utility and security application that allows you to adjust security settings on your computer and clean it of unnecessary files.
