See Color

Help for the Colorblind! See Color is an exciting software program that turns your handheld PDA into a color exploration tool. It was designed for anyone interested in color, including designers, artists and the colorblind. It uses a digital camera adapter, the eyemodule2, and a Handspring Visor Prism. When you point the camera at an object, the object and its color properties will be displayed on the screen of the device. The color properties are shown on the color wheel with the color names indicated by the first letter of the hue. The indicators show the intensity and saturation (brightness and strength) on either side of the color wheel. These values as well as the red, green and blue values are shown numerically at the bottom for comparisons. The background color around the indicators changes automatically to the color of the target.
