Self Employed Time Manager Description

Management of time is not a mandatory activity, but having a really good notion of how it goes by, especially when working on your tasks can significantly boost productivity and efficiency. Regardless of the type of work, you can definitely rely on specialized applications like Self Employed Time Manager to count and compare activity times.

All tasks saved in a drop-down menu

You quickly go through the setup process, without investing too much effort. You’re then free to run the program, and there’s even an option to have it brought up when the last step of the installer closes. You might end up scratching your head for a while at first, especially since there’s no documentation file to get you started, but this doesn’t mean the interface is counterintuitive.
The application can help you track multiple tasks, which you write down in a dedicated field, which also acts as a drop-down menu, remembering all of your past activities. You can only count one task at a time though, but the total amount spent on your work is shown as a reference point to see whether you improved performance.

Ghost time acts as a reference for each session

Clocking in means the timer starts, during this period, there’s the possibility to write down any objectives to get done by the end of the task, as well as milestones, as well as notes under the form of journal entries. Sadly, these are always discarded after ending the timer, with no possibility to access the log or view the history of objectives, milestones, or even journal entries.
Just to help increase productivity, the application remembers the overall time as a ghost time. This is always used as a reference when counting tasks, and you can use the previous one, or specify a total, virtual time to act as ghost.

In conclusion

Bottom line is that a proper management of your time is sure to greatly increase the way in which you handle your activities. Self Employed Time Manager offers a suitable method of counting your work times, but it feels a little rough around the edges, especially since you can’t review completed tasks or milestones.
