Serenity Ad Blocker is a free ad blocker designed to prevent banners, cookies, blinking text, looping GIF animations, referrer strings, script ads, automatic window resizing, JavaScript, and other adware elements when browsing the Internet.
It offers support for SOCKS4 and SOCKS5, and it can get integrated with Internet Explorer and Netscape. The tool runs in the systray after installation and can be instructed to autorun at every Windows startup until told otherwise.
Its possible to disable the ad blocker without exiting the tool, edit the list with blocked and allowed websites in your default text editor, reload the lists, resolve host names, enable logs for allowed and blocked websites, as well as hide the applications tray icon to make it invisible (can be viewed in the Task Manager).
