Servo

Servo is a comprehensive tool that makes Web design easy, even for non-programmers. The application allows you to create PHP script files and append them using pre-configured objects, or PHP commands. The program enables you to control the content of the webpage by dragging and dropping them into the code file.

Local and SFTP settings

Before configuring the PHP script, Servo prompts you to create a bookmark for the site, by specifying the name, the path and URL to the root of the site. You can specify a local path or a SFTP host, for a site that can run on your computer.
The program offers a large series of objects which enclose small PHP functions, for you to use in the design of the website. You can download these objects from the Servo webpage or create them yourself, then easily drag and drop them into the script file.
The intuitive interface of Servo allows you to control three dimensions at the same time. Thus, you can view the list of available objects, the elements you have added to your project and read/modify the script for each item in the text editor.

Build site structures, within minutes

Servo is dedicated to both users with advanced PHP knowledge, as well as non-programmers. Its graphic, WYSIWYG interface allows you to quickly open a website structure on your computer, then make the desired changes.
The program can open HTML or PHP files, allowing you to modify the code or preview the created elements. Thanks to its capability of handling PHP scripts, Servo allows you to create any type of website, without needing to worry about compatibility with browsers.

Managing PHP functions

Servo allows you to use a large series of objects or snippets of PHP code which you can simply drag and drop into the code file. These objects range from simply displaying a message to more complex functions, which require parameter customization. A designated area offers you a preview of the result, as you work, in real time.
