ShellBrowser .Net Edition

ShellBrowser .Net Edition is a collection of .NET components that were designed to help advanced computer users such as software developers implement Explorer features within their applications and even build their own explorers, if they want to.
Among the controls, users can find ShellTreeView, ShellListView, Visual Studio components, ShellChangeNotifier, ShellFilePreview and ShellControlConnector. It is worth mentioning that all ShellBrowser .Net Edition controls are C# components that can be integrated into all Visual Studio languages.
The ShellListView and ShellTreeView controls are used to imitate corresponding components of Windows Explorer, such as icons with their overlays, the context menu, details, thumbnails, virtual folders and also shell extensions.
The ShellChangeNotifier control keeps users updated with relevant shell operations, such as changes in the file system, insertion or removal of media and Net shares or unshares. Event notifications can be configured and even restricted so that the control only informs users about certain changes.
The ShellFilePreview enables the end user to view the contents of a document without opening it beforehand by connecting to the registered IPreviewHandlers and rendering the target files. The controls also feature support for file filters or checkboxes and can be customized to better fit the need of the developer.
The ShellControlConnector control is a non-visual .NET control that lets users synchronize several other shell controls without requiring coding.
