Shock 4Way 3D

Shock 4Way 3D is a useful tool for the users who need to work with multiple applications and need more desktop space. It is designed to provide you with four virtual desktops that can be used for organizing the active windows.
Although this tool is designed for laptops or other devices that have little desktop space, it can successfully be used by any computer that requires more than one screen to handle all the opened programs.
The main goal of the application is to create a flexible environment that allows you to work on multiple desktops and quickly switch between them. The desktop instances can be accessed from the tray icon or by using the keyboard shortcuts.
In order to accommodate the user preferences and the available hardware, the switcher can be configured to use animations and background transition effects. It includes several profiles and allows you to save your preferences to a profile that suites your machine.
You can customize each desktop by using a custom wallpaper and background color which enable you to identify the current one. If you only need one desktop for accessing the shortcuts the tray context menu enables you hide them on the other ones.
The program includes the option to access a program on all the instances by using a public program list. Unfortunately, the list does not allow you to add any program since it only includes Internet Explorer, Firefox, MSN Messenger and other Windows utilities.
In our tests, the Shock 4Way 3D successfully implemented the four desktop instances and the switching features. Although it required insignificant resources even when using rich transition effects, the ability to reduce the impact on the CPU is useful for slower machines.
