Showdesktop Description

In Windows 7 the Show Desktop button (Win+d) has been removed from the left side of the taskbar and put into the bottom right corner of the screen where it is now part of the Tray Notify window together with the clock and other system tray icons. It has more features than in Vista/XP but can not be moved elsewhere. This applet can be used to bring back a Vista style Show Desktop button to the left side of the taskbar. In addition, files pinned to the buttons jump list can be launched by their associated viewer. Simply unzip and pin to taskbar.
